Please note that this posting is for a contract assignment and is not a full-time employment opportunity with Amazon. Candidates selected for roles will be employed as contract workers through Amazon’s approved 3rd party Direct Source provider for the duration of the specified project and will not be an employee of Amazon.

Role Overview

Amazon Business is seeking a detail-oriented, technically proficient marketing professional to support the execution of customer marketing programs. This role focuses on translating marketing requirements into scalable customer communications and digital experiences across Amazon Business.

The ideal candidate combines marketing campaign experience with strong technical, organizational, and communication skills. You will execute email campaigns, multi-week customer journeys, website placements, and feature or promotional campaigns across diverse B2B customer segments. This is a hands-on execution role, rather than a pure strategy or creative position.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute customer marketing programs across Amazon Business, including email campaigns, multi-week customer journeys, website recommendations, feature launches, and promotional events.
  • Build and manage campaigns for different customer segments based on customer attributes, behaviors, industries, purchasing patterns, and category interests.
  • Configure email campaign flows, templates, and customer journeys using internal marketing platforms and tools.
  • Execute campaigns through platforms such as Marketly and other Amazon marketing tools.
  • Partner with Product, Science, and Marketing teams to translate campaign requirements into effective technical execution.
  • Track campaign timelines and deliverables using tools such as Asana, SharePoint, and Excel.
  • Work with structured inputs, including JSON files, as part of campaign execution.
  • Support content creation and updates for Amazon Business digital experiences, balancing marketing requirements with technical execution.
  • Monitor campaign execution, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate with relevant teams to resolve them.
  • Provide clear written updates on campaign and content execution and participate in recurring stakeholder meetings.
  • Manage multiple campaigns and priorities while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines.

Basic Qualifications

  • Experience in marketing campaign execution, marketing operations, email marketing, or a related field.
  • Experience creating, configuring, or executing email marketing campaigns and customer journeys.
  • Experience working with marketing platforms, campaign management tools, or digital marketing technologies.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple campaigns and deadlines.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Technical aptitude and ability to work with internal tools, templates, structured data, and established processes.
  • Ability to follow SOPs and translate marketing requirements into accurate campaign execution.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting B2B marketing programs.
  • Experience with social or digital marketing campaign execution.
  • Experience with customer segmentation, behavioral data, or audience targeting.
  • Familiarity with JSON or other structured data formats.
  • Experience working with enterprise marketing platforms or internal marketing tools.
  • Experience using project and workflow management tools such as Asana and Excel.
  • Experience collaborating with Product, Science, Marketing, or Technology teams.
  • Previous Amazon experience or familiarity with Amazon’s internal tools and operating environment.

What Success Looks Like

The successful candidate is highly organized, technically curious, and comfortable managing multiple campaigns and stakeholders. They can take a defined marketing objective or SOP and independently execute the required campaign components accurately and on schedule.

The role is best suited for someone who enjoys the intersection of marketing, technology, and operations — executing campaigns, working with customer data and marketing tools, coordinating across teams, and ensuring customers receive relevant content at the right time.
