Veritas Global Protection Services is a dynamic and growing company. We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Financial Analyst to join our team. This individual will play a key role in assisting our Director of Finance and CEO with financial reporting and analysis, ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of financial and accounting operations within the company.

Position Overview:

As a Financial Analyst, you will work closely with the Director of Finance and CEO, assisting with the preparation, analysis, and presentation of financial reports. This role requires a strong understanding of financial principles, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate complex financial information clearly.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Director of Finance and CEO with the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
  • Analyze financial data and trends, providing insights that support decision-making.
  • Prepare variance analysis and highlight key financial performance indicators.
  • Support budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring alignment with company goals.
  • Assist in the development of financial models and scenarios for strategic planning.
  • Work with the finance team to ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather financial data.
  • Perform ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting as required by management.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (required).
  • 2+ years of experience in financial analysis, accounting, or a related field.
  • Knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel, financial modeling, and accounting software.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
  • Strong work ethic and team player.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with senior executives, especially CFOs or CEOs.
  • Base knowledge of accounting concepts and principals.
  • Knowledge of accounting systems and advanced financial tools.
