Role Overview

The Business Development Manager will identify, develop, and execute growth opportunities across Quebec, creating meaningful customer relationships, developing strategic partnerships, and supporting sustainability-focused solutions.

The successful candidate will work closely with customers, prospects, industry stakeholders, and internal business partners to identify opportunities that drive long-term growth, strengthen customer relationships, and support WM’s commitment to innovation and environmental stewardship.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Commerce, Environmental Studies, Engineering, Marketing, or related discipline.
  • 5+ years of business development, strategic sales, consulting, account management, or market development experience.
  • Proven ability to build executive-level relationships.
  • Demonstrated success identifying and developing new business opportunities.
  • Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a dynamic and evolving environment.
  • Bilingual (French and English) required.
