Senior Data Analytics Manager

Role Overview

The Data Analytics Manager – Internal Audit is a critical, hands-on role within Group Internal Audit (GIA), created to strengthen the function’s data capability and enhance the value delivered across audits.

What You Will Do

You will extract, analyse and visualise data from multiple sources to assess risks, evaluate controls, and produce more meaningful, insight-driven audit outcomes.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Technology, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
• Preferred certifications: CISA, CPA, CIA, Security+, CISSP, or CISM
• Proven experience in data analytics within audit, risk, or consulting environments.
• Strong technical skills in SQL, Python and/or R, and data visualisation tools such as Power BI (or similar).
• Hands-on experience with data platforms (e.g. Azure Fabric, Power BI, SQL) and working with large, complex datasets.
• Experience developing dashboards and visualisations to communicate insights clearly and effectively.
• Understanding of data governance, data quality, and metadata management practices.
• Familiarity with ERP systems (Oracle preferred) and enterprise data environments.
• Knowledge of AI, machine learning, or automation use cases in analytics, audit, or risk contexts.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to present data-driven insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
