Business Development Director

Role Overview

We’re looking for a Business Development Director to join our New Zealand team, ideally located in either Auckland, New Plymouth or Wellington. As a key member of our Senior Leadership Team, you’ll head up our sales function and be responsible for catalysing growth across our entire business.

What You Will Do

Create & implement business strategies to facilitate company growth, identify and develop strategic relationships with partners and potential customers, and utilise our strong engineering, project delivery and construction teams to sell services to customers.

Requirements

  • Strong understanding of the New Zealand engineering & contracting market in the energy, water, and industrial sectors
  • Developed customer network across both islands
  • Tertiary qualification
  • Extensive business development experience in a related field
  • Project delivery exposure highly desirable
  • Ability to work at C-suite level
  • Proven, successful bid and proposal participation
  • Effective communicator with the ability to persuade and influence others during presentations
  • Must have the right to live and work in New Zealand
