Analytics Engineer

Role Overview

An established technology business is looking for an Analytics Engineer to join its team, helping turn complex data into reliable models and insights that support decisions across the business.

What You Will Do

Build, optimise and maintain scalable data transformation pipelines using dbt and Snowflake, design reusable data models, improve data quality and contribute to the development of a modern data platform.

Requirements

• Strong SQL skills, including experience writing and optimising complex queries.
• Commercial experience using dbt to build and maintain data transformation pipelines.
• Experience with Snowflake or another modern cloud data warehouse, such as BigQuery.
• A good understanding of data modelling and how to structure data for analytics and reporting.
• Familiarity with Python for automation, data manipulation or integration tasks.
• An interest in improving data quality, reliability and usability.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with technical and non-technical colleagues.
