Director, Transaction & Revenue Systems

Role Overview

The Director, Transaction & Revenue Systems will own the strategy, roadmap, and business outcomes for Yahoo’s Transaction & Revenue Systems domain, translating Finance and business priorities into a clear technology plan. The role requires leading the domain end to end across Product, Functional Expertise / BSAs, Engineering, and Reporting & Insights, with clear accountability for priorities, delivery, operational health, and business outcomes.

What You Will Do

The Director will modernize platforms and workflows across procure-to-pay, order-to-cash, billing and revenue, accounts receivable, expense, and related supplier and customer Finance processes. They will also partner closely with Finance and business leaders to set priorities, make tradeoffs, and ensure the roadmap reflects the highest-value business needs.

Requirements

• Significant leadership experience in Finance technology, enterprise applications, or complex business systems organizations
• Experience directly leading Product and Engineering teams
• Deep understanding of Finance processes and technology
• Demonstrated experience developing technology strategies and multi-year roadmaps tied to measurable business outcomes
• Track record of modernizing enterprise platforms, operating models, organizations, or complex business processes
• Strong technical judgment across enterprise applications, integrations, data, cloud technologies, architecture, and build-versus-buy decisions
• Experience with major ERP and Finance platforms; Oracle EBS R12 and/or Oracle Fusion experience is strongly preferred
• Experience leading through large-scale platform transformation, modernization, or migration programs while maintaining business continuity and operational stability
• Strong partnership skills with senior Finance and Technology leaders, including the ability to navigate competing priorities, make difficult tradeoffs, and drive decisions
• Proven people leadership, including building and developing teams, establishing clear accountability, and addressing capability or performance gaps
