Data Scientist

Role Overview

As a Data Scientist at Zocdoc, you will analyze and manipulate large sets of data to identify business problems and recommend data-driven solutions. You will work with various teams to validate metric definitions, experiment setup, and measurement readiness. You will also design and analyze experiments, and communicate findings to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.

What You Will Do

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include analyzing statistical modeling, causal analytics, and experimental design using R and SQL, manipulating large data sets using Python and Snowflake, and using Tableau, Looker, and visualization tools to translate complex analyses into dashboards and reports.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Business Analytics, Engineering (any), Math or related
• 2 years of experience in the job offered or a related quantitative occupation
• 2 years of experience in reviewing business intelligence, dashboarding, reporting, and data analytics using Tableau, Looker, BigQuery, and AWS (S3)
• 2 years of experience in analyzing statistical modeling, causal analytics, and experimental design using R (including R Shiny) and SQL
• 2 years of experience in manipulating large data sets using Python and Snowflake
