Senior Financial Operations Analyst

Role Overview

The Senior Financial Operations Analyst will be responsible for supporting the monthly financial close process, reviewing and validating journal entries, ensuring compliance with accounting policies, and strengthening financial controls across the organization.

Review and approve monthly journal entries, validate supporting documentation, ensure proper account coding, and collaborate with accounting teams to resolve discrepancies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or above in Data Analytics, Finance, Accounting, Mathematics, Statistics, business management or a related field
• 2-4 years of relevant experience in the finance or data analysis field
• Experience reviewing and approving financial transactions and supporting documentation
• Advanced PC skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics, or Workday
• Strong understanding of journal entries, financial accrual, reconciliations, and month-end close processes is preferred
• Hands-on experience with SAP, Python, Jira, and Tableau Prep is preferred
