We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer to join our Cloud & Engineering practice in Central Europe. The candidate will be responsible for delivering a new data platform and building a highly scalable and secure platform that will replace the currently used Data Warehouse and ETL/ELT pipelines.
Requirements
- Must have experience with Data integration / Data migration practices
- Support and extend the existing data ingestion and transformation pipelines
- Transfer data from data warehouse and SQL database to Databricks or Bigquery
- Design and implement Bronze / Silver / Gold data layers
- Resolve challenges related to replication and permission constraints
- Support ingestion of SAS data, currently used in Risk contexts (SAS acting as ETL)
- Transform SAS databases / files and load them into Databricks or BigQuery
- Work with CDC (Change Data Capture) integration patterns
- Support and optimize Databricks or BigQuery data models and transformations
- Ensure data readiness for Power BI consumption
