Continental is seeking an experienced Cloud Data Engineer (FinOps) to develop, implement, and maintain central financial operations solutions across AWS and Azure landing zones.
Requirements
- Academic degree in computer science, another technical field or an equivalent qualification
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in cloud platform engineering with focus on financial operations and cost optimization
- Strong understanding of FinOps principles, cloud cost management strategies, and billing processes for AWS and Azure
- Experience with Databricks, ETL processes, Power BI, and financial data analysis in cloud environments
- Proficiency in process automation and scripting languages (e.g. Python) for financial reporting workflows
- Basic knowledge of financial controlling principles and budgeting processes in technology environments
- Excellent analytical skills with ability to design workflows with complex financial data
- Professional working proficiency in English
