Gunvor Group is seeking a motivated finance officer to assist in arranging structured trade commodity and shipping asset financing deals in support of the Group’s growing business development ambitions in the Asia-Pacific region.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or Accounting
- Minimum 5-7 years assisting in a corporate finance or investment banking deal origination role
- Good knowledge of local and regional commodity markets and ship financing sector
- Good knowledge of loan documentation
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, with strong proficiency on advanced Excel and Powerpoint capabilities
- Strong aptitude for Mathematics
- Strong grasp of financial and accounting principles
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, both in English and Mandarin
- Self-starter, display pro-active mindset with ability to work independently
- Ability to multitask and work under tight deadlines
- Willingness to travel when required
- Organised and meticulous with ability to offer out of the box solutions
