Marketing Data Analyst to leverage bank and third-party data to drive business and customer insights, and develop client acquisition and retention strategies.
Requirements
- Analyzes external and internal client data using database queries (SQL), spreadsheet (Excel) models, web analytics tools (Google), statistical analysis tools, and campaign management (HubSpot / Salesforce) software tools.
- Provides actionable overall market and customer insights to address key strategic questions.
- Responsible for tracking, reporting, and analyzing the performance of marketing deliveries, ad-hoc analytic requests, and development/automation of regular reports.
- Creates presentations to provide market and consumer insights.
- Advises other marketing functions (e-commerce/website, online/offline advertising, brand, product development) as the knowledge owner for client data.
- Collaborates with IT and other data partners on how best to leverage bank and third-party data.
- Works with the Operations teams when data quality and/or errors are found in primary sources.
- Uses statistical tools to identify, analyze, and interpret patterns and trends in complex data sets that could be helpful for diagnosis and prediction.
- Works with programmers, engineers, and business line management to identify process, improvement opportunities, propose system modifications, and devise strategies.
- Prepares final analysis reports for the stakeholders to understand the data-analysis steps, enabling them to make important decisions based on various facts and trends.
- Understands all applicable laws and regulations that apply to the position and comply with the requirements.
