Manager Financial Planning and Analysis

Role Overview

Abbott is seeking a Financial Planning & Analysis Manager to serve as a key finance business partner to Abbott’s Global Engineering Services organization. This role provides strategic financial leadership, supports significant capital investment decisions, and influences resource allocation across critical global functions.

What You Will Do

Serve as a key finance business partner, prepare and review financial forecasts, manage the month-end close process, analyze financial results, and drive continuous improvement and simplification of financial and business processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting
• 7+ years of progressive experience in FP&A or accounting
• Prior experience leading or supervising finance professionals
• Demonstrated experience in financial forecasting, variance analysis, budgeting, and management reporting
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and financial modeling skills
• Experience working with ERP and planning systems such as SAP Hyperion
• Proven ability to influence and partner effectively with senior business leaders
• Strong communication, presentation, and financial storytelling skills
• Experience managing multiple priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
