Requirements
- Hands-on experience in data engineering and software engineering, particularly with high-volume, business-critical pipelines.
- Experience in maintaining and building modern data platforms as well as in acting as a multiplier for other engineering teams.
- Deep, practical experience with our target stack: Dagster, dbt, Google BigQuery (GBQ), and AWS (ECS).
- Strong software engineering foundations (CI/CD, testing, best practices, design patterns), applied to data engineering.
- SQL and Python knowledge on an expert level.
- Knowledge of infrastructure setups (Docker, Terraform/CloudFormation).
- Pragmatic Excellence: You have a sharp, fast mind and know data engineering best practices in and out, but you possess the pragmatism to know when to implement them and when to deliver.
