Requirements
- 7–10 years in backend infrastructure or data systems, with 4+ years in Security Engineering or a related field
- Fluent in SQL, Python, and PySpark, and comfortable deploying Spark jobs in the cloud via EMR or AWS Glue
- AWS security services (IAM, GuardDuty, CloudTrail, CloudWatch) and can keep data secure across regions and data centers
- Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, and Kinesis are familiar territory
- 5+ years with enterprise BI platforms and advanced Power BI proficiency, including DAX, Power Query (M), star/snowflake data modeling, paginated reports, composite models, row-level security (RLS), and deployment pipelines
- Connect Power BI to sources like Azure Synapse, Databricks, AWS Redshift, and REST APIs
- Detection and Response experience (DFIR, Detection Engineering, or Threat Intelligence) is a strong plus, as is familiarity with Grafana, Databricks or Splunk dashboards
