Compliance Lead, Network Growth

Affirm is a financial technology company that is hiring a Compliance Lead to work on their Compliance Advisory team. The team ensures business partners adhere to regulatory requirements and internal policies. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial services compliance, a keen understanding of the fintech landscape, and the ability to navigate complex regulatory environments. The Compliance Lead will work to identify and evaluate risks within applicable requirements, and offer guidance on mitigating potential risks.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (Compliance certifications a plus)
• 5+ years of professional work experience in a compliance advisory role
• Experience working in fast-paced, ambiguous environments
• Experience advising revenue-generating stakeholder groups
• Working knowledge of consumer financial laws and regulations, including UDAAP, CAN-SPAM, FCRA, TCPA, TILA (Reg. Z), ECOA (Reg. B), EFTA (Reg. E), TISA (Reg. DD)
• Inquisitive and proactive in identifying problems and proposing creative solutions and ability to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work in a self-directed environment with excellent strategic thinking and problem-solving ability, who can assist with minimal guidance
• Outstanding verbal and written communication with the ability to clearly present complex and contentious issues
