Role Overview
The Associate Director, Incentive Compensation will play a critical role in the success of Alexion’s Hem/Neph business and the Business Operations and Commercial Effectiveness organization. This role is responsible for leading and administering the end-to-end Incentive Compensation process for the Hem/Neph division.
What You Will Do
Responsible for the strategic design and administration of field-based compensation programs for the US Hem/Neph business that recognize and reward employee performance and drive business results.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required (Business, Finance, Math, or related major is preferred)
- Pharmaceutical industry experience, preferably in rare disease, required.
- Analytics skills inclusive of advanced Microsoft Excel capabilities
- Demonstrated understanding of various incentive compensation plans, including but not limited to commission, goal, and MBO or equivalent experience plan builds
- Proven ability to communicate clearly, concisely, and effectively to express information in both written and oral context
- Detail oriented, strong problem-solving skills with a sense of urgency
- Ability to quickly establish relationships of trust and credibility with internal stakeholder-partners and to be seen as a partner to the business.
- High level of attention to detail paired with the ability to effectively assess and diagnose business needs and develop impactful solutions.
- In-depth critical thinking and creative problem-solving skills
- Deep understanding of sales processes, methodologies, and procedures
