Field Sales Engineer

We are looking for an enthusiastic and proactive Field Sales Engineer within our Food & Pharma division. As a Field Sales Engineer, you are the face of Alfa Laval in the Netherlands within the waste water sector. You are responsible for maintaining and expanding customer relationships within the waste water sector, performing both services and capital sales activities.

Requirements

  • Managing a portfolio of customers in the Dutch waste water market (Waste Water) independently and being the first point of contact for both technical and commercial issues
  • Creating sales plans and strategies and prioritizing
  • Being responsible for Service Sales activities at existing and new customers, including the signing of Service Agreements
  • Being responsible for new build tender projects at customers and/or contractors
  • Spending a lot of time visiting customers, maintaining relationships, and identifying new opportunities
  • Receiving sales support in activities such as tendering from the “Inside Sales” organization in Breda
  • Working closely with internal teams, such as sales, order processing, service operations, and technical specialists
  • Following market developments closely and visiting network and relationship events to stay up to date with new opportunities
