Role Overview

As Leader FBO for T&D at APS, you’ll lead a Finance and Business Operations team that helps turn financial information into informed business decisions. By overseeing budgets, forecasts, performance analysis, and financial support for engineering and asset management teams, you’ll help strengthen accountability, operational effectiveness, and responsible investment in the systems that serve APS customers and communities.

What You Will Do

Lead and support Finance and Business Operations staff, providing direction and guidance to help the team deliver meaningful financial insights. Oversee operating and capital budgets, forecasts, variance analysis, and financial performance measures.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in business, economics, finance, accounting or related discipline; MBA or Masters degree preferred.
  • Minimum of five (5) years progressively responsible business experience with emphasis in business planning, financial planning, modeling and analysis, forecasting, valuation and/or transactional due diligence.
  • Leadership experience in a financial or accounting based management position desirable.
  • Demonstrated competency in financial reporting and modeling.
  • Possess significant knowledge of regulatory trend developments in the utility industry, utility operations, and finance.
  • Ability to manage a cross functional team that will consist of financial and operational based individuals to develop an effective and efficient support system for the business unit.
  • Must possess the ability to understand trends and results at both a detailed level and a strategic level, and to inter-relate issues between the two.
  • Demonstrated effective oral, written and presentation communication skills; negotiation skills; and the highest quality interpersonal and people management skills.
