We’re looking for a Senior Data Platform Engineer to join our team at Arcotech. The role involves designing and implementing solutions for complex challenges on the platform, conducting code reviews, and collaborating with partner teams to define how data reaches models.
Requirements
- Python, Scala, Java, or Go
- SQL
- Algorithms, data structures, and scalability of applications
- Distributed processing frameworks like Apache Spark or Beam
- Containerization and deployment with Docker and Kubernetes
- CI/CD
- Platform monitoring and observability
- Pipeline orchestration with Airflow, dbt, or Dataform
- Solutions from the Google Cloud Platform (e.g., BigQuery, GCS, GKS, IAM, DataProc, Cloud SQL, Composer, Pub/Sub, Dataflow)
- Management and maintenance of analytical data visualization platforms (Metabase, Looker, Tableau)
