Join Ascot Group as an Actuarial Data Analyst, Captives and work on critical “run the business” core services such as data manipulation and querying, template creation, tool support, and business intelligence (reporting).
Requirements
- Strong experience in multiple languages: SQL, VBA, R, and Python
- Experience building Data Visualization reports in PowerBI or Tableau a plus
- Bachelor’s degree with strong academic performance
- Insurance industry experience is preferred, but not required
- A minimum of 2 years of experience as a data analyst and/or strong data skills achieved as part of an Insurance, IT, Finance, Data, or Math curriculum
- Excel experience in an analytical environment. Prior work experience preferred but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and verifying data, maintaining high levels of accuracy.
- Respect and manage deadlines
- Highly customer-centric both internally and externally
- Strong collaborative skills in a fast-paced team-centric environment
