Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in information systems, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- 2+ years of experience as a Data Analyst/Engineer for a large Data Warehouse working with large data sets
- Some ETL Tool experience; SSIS, Informatica, ADF
- Some experience in the Commercial and/or Specialty insurance industry is desired
- An understanding of financial data and concepts
- Analytical, rigorous, with attention to detail
- Proven SQL skills
- Proven experience using SQL to identify and correct data issues
- Some Database knowledge, preferably SQL Server, Synapse
- Capable scripting/SQL skills to perform ETL, data/file validation, analysis, and profiling
- Minimal ability to create, read, understand, and interpret Data Models
- Code maintenance and review experience in one or more general purpose languages
- Understanding insurance domain data models, desired
