Head of Financial Planning, Analysis and Business Finance

Role Overview

Mercantile Bank PLC. is looking for a Head of Financial Planning, Analysis and Business Finance to lead the Financial Planning, Analysis and Business Finance Team. The successful candidate will work closely with the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of the Bank, contributing to financial analytics, management reporting, business performance monitoring and strategic decision-making.

What You Will Do

Work on budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, profitability analysis and financial modelling. Analyze financial and business data to identify trends, risks, opportunities and improvement areas.

Requirements

• Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Finance
• Master Degree preferably in Finance, Accounting Economics, Business Analytics, Data Analytics or MBM or any related discipline from a recognized university.
• CA/ACCA/CMA/CFA or partly qualifications will be preferred.
• An Income Tax Practitioner (ITP) certificate will also be considered an added advantage.
• Advance level application knowledge/ experience of MS excel or Power BI or other Business Analytic tools.
• At least 10 year(s) of relevant professional experience in banks/financial institutions, out of which at least 05 years in the role of Finance & Accounting.
