Key Account Manager – Special Projects & Major Events

Role Overview

You will be a connector and deal-maker with strong roots in the Special Projects and Major Events industry, actively using your network to open doors, build a strong pipeline, and position BeWunder at the right table early on. You will play a key role in translating BeWunder’s experience into new markets, opening doors, and establishing BeWunder as a trusted partner for high-impact global formats.

What You Will Do

You will leverage your existing industry network to identify and engage decision-makers, rights holders, creative agencies, and delivery partners across major sporting events, ceremonies, summits, and high-impact live formats. You will own and continuously develop a pipeline of Special Projects opportunities, conduct targeted market research, and act as the main commercial contact for key accounts and strategic partners.

Requirements

• At least five years of relevant experience in business development, account management, or client-facing roles within major events, Special Projects, or overlay delivery
• Demonstrable and active network within the major events ecosystem
• Strong commercial instinct and ability to qualify opportunities early, assess strategic fit, and prioritise your pipeline effectively
• Ability to communicate confidently and build strong relationships, navigating senior-level conversations with ease
• Ability to work in a structured and self-directed way, managing multiple opportunities at once and tracking progress clearly within a CRM-based workflow
• Fluency in English and German; and/or additional languages are a strong advantage
