Director, Technology FinOps

The Director of FinOps will build and lead BNY’s Technology FinOps capability to drive financial accountability and maximize ROI across the technology estate. The role involves building a FinOps capability from scratch, recruiting and leading a team, and embedding cost-conscious decision-making across a complex, multi-cloud, multi-vendor environment.

Requirements

• 10+ years in technology finance, cloud engineering, infrastructure operations, or related discipline
• At least 3 years leading a FinOps or technology cost management function
• Strong understanding of cloud pricing models, commitment instruments, and consumption-based billing across major providers
