Head of People Operations

Role Overview

As Head of People Operations, you will build the operational HR foundation for our soon-to-be over 1,000 employees in the Berlin HQ and our nationwide portfolio companies.

What You Will Do

You will be responsible for Personio and our employee data, develop the configuration, permissions, and workflows further, and ensure that the data is complete, up-to-date, and reliable.

You will shape our operational HR foundation, develop the systems and processes with which we will reliably care for over 1,000 employees and integrate further companies.

Requirements

• have already taken over operational HR responsibility for several hundred employees, ideally across multiple companies or locations.
• have built, introduced, and subsequently managed HR processes in operation.
• have independently configured Personio or a comparable HR system and are familiar with data migration, permissions, workflows, and data quality.
• have in-depth knowledge of German labor law and practical experience with complex personnel measures, particularly terminations and conflict cases.
• recognize which cases you can handle independently and when you need to involve legal support.
• can set clear priorities even with incomplete information and steer processes reliably to completion.
• have experience in a rapidly growing company, for example, a VC-financed startup, a PE-financed company, or a company with many acquisitions.
• speak German at C2 level.
• want to work on-site every day in our Berlin office.
