Sales Operations Expert (m/w/d)
As a Sales Operations Expert, you are responsible for the seamless execution of sales processes and increasing operational efficiency to ensure business continuity. This role focuses on optimizing sales workflows and their smooth implementation. You work closely with cross-functional teams to identify operational challenges, streamline processes, and implement solutions to increase productivity. With a strong focus on operational excellence and continuous improvement, you remain agile to meet business requirements in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- As an important subject matter expert, lead and train our BBS teams to deliver excellent performance through strategic alignment and engaging customer support programs.
- Communicate directly with customers on complex issues, escalations, or when your advanced expertise is needed to ensure seamless and high-quality service.
- Manage and proactively resolve complex operational issues and act as a helpful partner to find cross-departmental solutions.
- Promote consistent workflow execution and standardization, document and support innovative standard operating procedures (SOPs) to achieve continuous operational excellence.
- Resolve communication complexities and build strong connections between onshore and offshore teams to ensure clear customer communication.
- Proactively identify inefficiencies and develop and implement solutions that benefit our ecosystem and improve the customer journey.
- Prepare and review export documents to ensure their completeness and accuracy before release to the freight forwarder (on-site).
Your Profile:
Education:
- Preferably a Bachelor’s degree with a strong commercial background and mindset.
Experience:
- At least 5+ years of professional experience in a team leadership role, ideally in a comparable food and B2B environment.
- Affinity for the food and raw materials industry.
- Affinity/knowledge in the field of export documentation.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in German and English.
- Experience with MS Office and ideally also with Salesforce, SAP or similar ERP systems.
