Role Overview

The role is focused on leading treasury transformation, originating new business, and delivering integrated financial solutions to some of the fastest-evolving companies in the global economy.

What You Will Do

As a senior solution sales, you will combine sector expertise with strong commercial execution, positioning Citi as a strategic partner to clients navigating rapid innovation, platform-based business models, and evolving regulatory frameworks.

Requirements

• Experience in corporate/commercial banking or financial services with a strong track record in solution sales and revenue generation
• Deep expertise in payments, liquidity management, cross-border transaction banking, and Trade solutions
• Strong understanding of Digital, Technology, and Communications sectors, including fintech, platform business models, and payment ecosystems
• Experience working with or advising payment institutions, e-money firms, or intermediaries, including knowledge of safeguarding, client fund flows, and settlement processes
• Solid understanding of regulatory frameworks impacting payments and digital finance (e.g., Payment Services Directive, e-money regulations, safeguarding rules)
• Demonstrated ability to originate, structure, and close complex, multi-country, multi-product deals
• Strong commercial acumen with understanding of cash flow, balance sheet optimisation, and scaling treasury for high-growth firms
• Proven ability to operate as both a client leader and internal mentor/influencer within a matrixed organisation
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and influencing skills at senior executive levels
