Senior Staff Engineer – Ads Data Platform (Seattle or Mountain View)

We exist to wow our customers. We’re a fast-growing e-commerce company disrupting the multi-billion-dollar industry. We’re looking for a Senior Staff Engineer to build a scalable, resilient, and low-latency infrastructure for our Ads data platform.

Requirements

• Architect and scale high-throughput data processing pipelines and serving infrastructure critical to real-time ad delivery.
• Engineer our next-generation data platform, focusing on self-service capabilities that empower cross-functional teams to deploy data into production with minimal friction.
• Bridge the gap between business strategy and technical execution, translating complex ads logic into highly distributed, efficient, and resilient system architectures.
• Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Electrical Engineering, Math, or a closely related field, 8 years of experience in backend software development, experience working in cloud environments, particularly AWS, demonstrated experience in building and maintaining highly available, distributed systems.
• Preferred Qualifications: ability and desire to drive solid design work on multi-threaded/multi-process, distributed system, passion to explore, improve, automate and optimize distributed systems and tools, proven ability to lead and collaborate in cross-functional, fast-paced environments.
