Financial Analyst – Dallas, TX

Role Overview

The Financial Analyst will support plant accounting activities, including journal entries, accruals, account reconciliations, and financial statement analysis. The role will also support business decisions and provide meaningful financial insights to plant leadership and cross-functional teams.

What You Will Do

Prepare and post monthly journal entries, maintain a strong understanding of general ledger accounting concepts, perform monthly Balance Sheet reconciliations, and support Income Statement reviews and variance analysis.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• CPA, CMA, or progress toward certification
• Minimum of 3 years of accounting, cost accounting, or financial analysis experience in a manufacturing environment
• Strong understanding of general ledger accounting, journal entries, debits and credits, accruals, payroll accounting, account reconciliations, and month-end close processes
• Experience with inventory accounting, fixed assets, standard costing, and manufacturing financial reporting
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Experience with Power BI dashboard development and data visualization
• ERP experience required; SAP and Coupa experience strongly preferred
