Datavant is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to strengthen its capabilities around reporting, advanced analytics, and data governance. The role will involve leading the design and evolution of scalable data platform infrastructure and partnering with stakeholders across Product, Engineering, Analytics, and Operations.
Requirements
- 7+ years of progressive experience in software development or data engineering
- AI-first mindset with hands-on experience leveraging AI-assisted engineering tools
- Deep expertise in modern data modeling and transformation practices
- Strong experience designing reusable pipeline frameworks and orchestration strategies
- Strong experience designing and operating cloud-based data platforms
- Experience leading platform reliability initiatives
- Strong familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, GitOps workflows, automated testing strategies
- Strong technical leadership and communication skills
- Ability to lead through ambiguity, balance competing priorities, and drive high-impact initiatives
