Senior Data Scientist

Glovo is a local delivery platform that is part of the Delivery Hero Group. We are looking for a Senior Data Scientist to join our Data team in Barcelona to work on projects that impact user engagement, retention, and lifetime value. The role involves developing predictive and prescriptive algorithms, working with cross-functional teams, and promoting best-in-class standards in data science and customer analytics.

Requirements

• Deep theoretical and applied knowledge in at least one of the following areas: traditional machine learning, statistical modeling, causal inference, and deep learning.
• Extensive experience with the end-to-end predictive/prescriptive model development cycle, from problem definition to productionalization and maintenance.
• Strong data modeling and SQL skills.
• Familiarity with orchestration tools (Airflow, Luigi, Dagster) and cloud infrastructures (GCP, AWS, Azure).
• Excellent verbal and written communication in English.
• Working knowledge of agile development.
• Change management skills and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong presentation skills in communicating with experts and non-experts alike.
