T&T – OIDS – Consultant – Data Scientist – Bangalore

Deloitte’s Technology and Transformation team is seeking a Data Scientist to work on converting raw satellite imagery into analytical products. The team combines geospatial domain knowledge with a hands-on approach to building things and works across platforms, including Google Earth Engine, Python, QGIS, and cloud infrastructure.

Requirements

• Experience working on electro-optical satellite data image pre-processing/processing and analytics
• Familiarity with electro-optical system functionality, performance, and product data structures
• Experience with satellite image processing and large-scale geospatial datasets
• Proficiency in programming with Python, C++, or other relevant languages
• Experience in applying Machine Learning models to extract features and make predictions based on orthographic images
• Proficiency in using databases like PostgreSQL
• In-depth knowledge of computer vision libraries and frameworks such as OpenCV, TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras
• Strong knowledge of Trimble, Google Earth Engine, ArcGIS, Hexagon geosystems, Leica
