Role Overview

The Financial Analyst II provides experienced-level financial analysis and modeling to support strategic decision-making across the Ministry. This role independently manages portions of the forecasting, budgetary review, and financial planning process.

What You Will Do

Conduct independent variance analysis, create and refine complex financial models, prepare forecasting reports, improve reporting tools, and assist with Ministry-wide budgeting processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field
  • MBA, CPA or CFA preferred or in progress
  • Minimum of 2+ years of financial analysis experience
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage non-financial audiences
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple deliverables independently
  • Excellent Excel and financial modeling skills; knowledge of financial systems preferred
  • Exceptional organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills with a heart for Ministry
  • Capacity to inspire and develop others while embracing feedback, collaboration, and continuous improvement
  • A collaborative and flexible style, with a strong service mentality. Need to be seen as a team player
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to develop sincere business/Ministry relationships
  • Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills
  • Demonstrated commitment to the social sector with a passion for our mission and values
