Solutions Engineer – Automotive

Solutions Engineer – Automotive role involves collaborating with customers, internal teams, and external partners to design and implement custom test solutions. The successful candidate will be responsible for mentoring junior engineers, reviewing work quality, and providing technical guidance. This is a full-time, hybrid role based in Bayan Lepas, Malaysia.

Requirements

• Interact with customers, NI staff, external partners, and external suppliers in support of crafting, implementing, and sustaining custom test solutions.
• High-level collaborative design of coordinated solutions.
• Ensure alignment with development processes and standard methodologies.
• Engage in the development of reusable software to be applied by multiple projects.
• Review work quality and mentor junior engineers.
• Work with Project Managers to find efficient technical solutions to project challenges.
• Responsible for technical work for the given project.
• Collaborate with the project lead on the design of the systems, workflows, and architectures that enable the future state to be achieved with the use of NI and NI ecosystem tools and offerings.
• Guide the introduction of new systems and workflows to enable the customer’s desired future state (business outcome).
• Help with providing training, mentoring, and growing new talent in the ADAS, VSE, EV Power Conversion, and Electronics spaces.
• Leads customer technical onsite tasks and helps advance opportunities.
