The Assistant Conference & Events Manager role is a trainee position at Rydges Resort Hunter Valley, assisting with conferences, events, and operations. The successful candidate will work closely with the Conference & Events Manager and Food & Beverage Director to ensure the smooth operation of the department.
Requirements
- Take direction from the Conference & Events Manager and/or Assistant Food & Beverage Director/Food & Beverage Director as well as maintaining a proactive approach.
- Assist with the management of the venue complaint system by handling, recording and reporting all guest customer and complaints with tact, diplomacy, urgency and a genuine sense of caring at all times.
- Maintain up to date records of all licenses and qualification for the Food & Beverage team.
- Actively seek and implement ways to increase team morale, develop and retain team members.
