Senior Financial Analyst

Role Overview

The Senior Financial Analyst will support the FOX Entertainment network business, including working closely with the Studio, Distribution and Corporate Finance teams. The role will involve monthly close, budgets and forecasts, key financial reporting, ad hoc analysis, and tracking of various payments and receipts.

What You Will Do

Support month-end close activities, prepare month-end reporting, maintain supplemental schedules, understand monthly trial balance activity, perform detailed balance sheet reconciliations and analysis, and perform ad-hoc reporting and special projects.

The ideal candidate will have a BA/BS in Finance or Accounting, 3+ years of relevant experience, strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, and excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Requirements

• BA/BS in Finance or Accounting
• 3+ years of relevant experience
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with all levels of the department
• Ability to listen and communicate well both verbally and in writing
• Demonstrate exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• High proficiency in using computer systems particularly Advanced Excel, Microsoft Word, Database Management skills, and ERPs e.g. Workday
