Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager, the Sales Representative works to develop and maintain business relationships with institutions, commercial, and industrial waste clients to grow the commercial business in Niagara/Hamilton corridor.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a sales/business development role, preferably in an industrial setting
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to work as part of a highly interactive and engaging team
- Strong prospecting skills, including lead identification, research, and targeted outreach
- Resilience and persistence in handling rejection and maintaining consistent follow-up
- Understanding of the sales funnel, including lead generation, qualification, and closing techniques
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, CRM systems, and other sales tools to effectively manage leads and sales activity
- Ability to self-manage time and resources to achieve goals
- Access to a reliable vehicle for business use is a requirement
