Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager, the Sales Representative works to develop and maintain business relationships with institutions, commercial, and industrial waste clients to grow the commercial business in Ottawa, Ontario.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a sales/business development role, preferably in an industrial setting, is a requirement.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to work as part of a highly interactive and engaging team.
- Strong prospecting skills, including lead identification, research, and targeted outreach.
- Resilience and persistence in handling rejection and maintaining consistent follow-up.
- Understanding of the sales funnel, including lead generation, qualification, and closing techniques.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, CRM systems, and other sales tools to effectively manage leads and sales activity.
- Must be able to self-manage time and resources to achieve goals.
- Access to a reliable vehicle for business use is a requirement.
- Flexibility is required at times to meet customer needs or to deliver on special projects.
