The role requires both technical depth and the ability to work directly with business stakeholders during metric validation sessions.
Requirements
- Advanced experience with dbt Semantic Layer and MetricFlow
- Advanced SQL expertise
- Basic Python scripting skills
- Intermediate experience with Power BI or other self-service BI platforms
- Intermediate experience with Atlan or similar data cataloguing platforms
- Strong retail domain knowledge
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Experience using Claude API or similar AI tooling
- Familiarity with Cortex Analyst YAML generation
- Experience monitoring Cortex ML models
- Understanding of NLQ context management
- Exposure to LLM APIs, Snowflake Cortex, or similar AI-driven analytics platforms
