Role Overview

We are seeking a Technical Revenue Accounting Manager to oversee our Enterprise sales in the EMEA region. This is a high-impact, high-visibility role, where you will get to partner with leaders across Sales, Legal, Finance to support Atlassian’s growth objectives.

What You Will Do

Manage the review and approval of data center and cloud revenue agreements, provide support and guidance to Sales, Legal, and Order Management teams on deal structure and contractual terms for revenue compliance and optimization.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of revenue experience with 3 years minimally in a technical accounting role
  • Strong knowledge of US GAAP and primarily revenue recognition standards (ASC 606)
  • Proficient in using large scale ERP systems (Oracle Fusion a plus), and Revpro
  • Demonstrated experience thinking strategically about issues, leading to recommendations and action plans
  • Excellent interpersonal skills (oral and written) and the ability to communicate effectively with all levels at the company
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
  • BA/BS degree in Accounting. CPA or equivalent is preferred, but not required. Experience with a Big-4 accounting firm is strongly preferred.
