Ingram Micro is a leading technology company seeking a Business Development Executive to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for building relationships with vendor partners and growing the business by market share. This is a remote position based in BC or Calgary with occasional travel to vendor sites supporting the West Coast Canadian region.
Requirements
- College diploma or degree or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in field sales or direct sales.
- Hands-on working experience with one or more major vendors, including HPE, Dell, Palo Alto, Fortinet, IBM, Nutanix, Check Point, and F5 within the West Coast region.
- Excellent sales, relationship-building, customer service, and presentation skills.
- Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to establish rapport and trust.
- Strong sales acumen with a deep understanding of sales processes and strategies.
- Ability to work independently and manage a flexible schedule as needed.
- Recognized subject matter expert with specialized knowledge in the function.
- Experience with MS Office Suite is required.
