We are looking for a highly motivated Strategic Financial Analyst who is passionate about translating financial data into actionable insights and drive profitability management topics for Julius Baer’s private banking and intermediaries business in Western Markets & Switzerland. In this challenging and exciting role, you will be part of the Regional CFO Western Markets & Switzerland team, and report to the Head of Regional Financial Planning, Reporting & Analytics.
Requirements
- Strong academic record in a quantitative field: University degree in Finance, Accounting, Econometrics or comparable field of study with above-average grades
- At least 4-5 years of experience in a comparable finance or related function within banking / background in consulting with a focus on banking / finance sector
- Strong interest in Private Banking & global financial markets
- Outstanding analytical, conceptual and problem-solving skills with a strong affinity to quantitative modelling
- Excellent Excel and data handling skills. Programming skills (e.g. VBA/Python/SQL/R) as well as data visualization / business intelligence tools knowledge (e.g. Tableau/Power BI) is a great advantage
- Advanced PowerPoint skills and an affinity for automation of presentation content in connection with data updates
- Independent, pro-active, efficient and meticulous work method with a results-oriented mindset
- Strong personal drive with good organizational and multi-tasking skills as well as ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with multiple senior stakeholders
- Fluent in English (spoken and written), German is a plus
