AI/ML Data Scientist

Leidos is seeking an AI/ML Data Scientist to support an enterprise IT program for an Intelligence Community client. The ideal candidate will have strong skills in PL/SQL, Java, AWS, BASH, Linux, and will be comfortable with JIRA, Git, & Nexus. The work you’ll be doing in this role has direct mission impact.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and 12+ years of experience or Master’s degree with 10+ years of experience
• Active TS/SCI with Polygraph is required
• Demonstrated experience with Github, Jenkins, and Nexus
• Demonstrated experience with VSCode and Eclipse
• Demonstrated experience and familiarity with data science frameworks like Tensorflow (1.x and 2.x), Keras, and Theano
• Demonstrated experience and familiarity with Test Frameworks: JUnit, Swagger, Postman
• Demonstrated experience with Jenkins, Kubernetes, Ansible, Terraform
• Demonstrated experience with on-prem and cloud environments
• Demonstrated experience and expertise AWS / C2S
• Demonstrated familiarity with LLM Architectures
• Demonstrated experience in data architecture
• Demonstrated experience with and understanding of database structure principles
• Demonstrated experience in data modeling and design, including SQL development and database administration
• Demonstrated experience in data visualization, data migration and data modeling
• Demonstrated experience in relational database management systems (DBMS)
• Demonstrated experience in DBMS software, including SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, PostGres
• Demonstrated experience in database and cloud computing design, architectures and data lakes
• Demonstrated experience in configuration and administration of enterprise level data stores, ETL and ELT methods, and batch and streaming data transport
• Demonstrated experience gathering and analyzing system requirements
• Demonstrated experience with Version control systems such as Git
• Demonstrated experience with programming languages Java and Python
• Demonstrated experience with Linux (OS & scripting)
• Demonstrated experience with Agile development methodologies and JIRA
• Demonstrated experience working in a fast-paced, technically challenging area; ability to anticipate and manage changes or problems; assess impacts and recommend sound solutions
• Demonstrated experience in systems development, including system development life cycle, project management approaches and requirements, and design and testing techniques
