Data Analyst – Hybrid

We are seeking a Data Analyst to join our team at a leading retail and consumer electronics company in Japan. The successful candidate will utilize analytics and AI technologies to solve business problems, collaborate with the Business Development Manager, and build an analytics solution that meets business requirements.

Requirements

• Major in Information Engineering, Information Science, Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, or Industrial Engineering
• Professional level proficiency in Japanese, English, and Chinese
• 2 or more years of relevant work experience as a data analyst
• Ability to build statistical models
• Data visualization skills
• Experience with analysis-assistance tools and AI agents
• Programming skills (SQL, R, Python)
• Large-scale data processing capabilities
• Experience with ML model development and deep learning model development
• Retail industry experience
• Communication skills to bridge business needs and analytical/AI technical limitations

Benefits

• Salary: CN¥500,000 – CN¥800,000 per year
