Role Overview
The Sales Manager will be responsible for the aggregate sales process, including identifying new business, generating and pursuing leads, and servicing customers. The role will involve meeting with and calling potential and existing customers, gathering project data, and generating activity reports. The Sales Manager will also be responsible for managing day-to-day sales activities to maximize revenue and profit, including pricing, market penetration, and expense control.
What You Will Do
The Sales Manager will proactively sell ready-mix and associated products/services to meet or exceed budgeted profit objectives. They will also meet with and call potential and existing customers, gather project data, and generate activity reports. Additionally, the Sales Manager will service jobs in the field, including night jobs as directed, and ensure proper job servicing.

Requirements
- Customer service and sales/marketing experience in concrete or construction industry preferred
- High School Diploma required; some college coursework desired
- Three to five years of experience in concrete or construction industry preferred
- Strong interpersonal and telephone skills; ability to communicate clearly in English
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and basic mathematical equations
- Ability to work independently as a self-starter and establish effective relationships with customers and co-workers
- Valid driver’s license
- Advanced computer skills including Microsoft Office products
- Knowledge of Oracle modules including CRM and reporting functions
- Ability to lift to 50 pounds, sit, stand, walk for extended periods
- Ability to tolerate noise and temperature variations
