Role Overview
Join a highly visible Corporate Business Development team responsible for shaping GE HealthCare’s long-term growth strategy. The Senior Director, Business Development will partner directly with GE HealthCare senior executives and business leaders to identify, evaluate, and execute acquisitions, strategic investments, partnerships, and divestitures that accelerate growth and strengthen our global leadership position.
What You Will Do
Responsible for leading the execution of Business Development transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, equity investments, partnerships/alliances, and licensing opportunities. Leads strategy and transaction conversations with business and functional leadership.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Accounting, Engineering, Life Sciences or Medicine
- Minimum eight years of experience with a minimum of six years of relevant business development experience in the areas of mergers and acquisitions, licensing, divestitures, or joint ventures in a corporate, investment banking, or consulting environment
- Demonstrated experience and expertise in the medtech industry
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and influence skills
- Demonstrated aptitude for both managing and prioritizing multiple projects and resolving complex and challenging situations
- Team leadership and facilitation skills in a matrix organization and interacting with senior executives
- Strong problem solving skills
- Clear thinking: Experience simplifying strategy into specific actions with clear accountability, making decisions with speed and accuracy based on best available information, and communicating priorities clearly and concisely
- Integrity: Accepting and adhering to high ethical, moral, and personal values in decisions, communications, actions, and when dealing with others
- Adaptable/Flexible: Open to change in response to new information, different or unexpected circumstances, and/or to work in ambiguous situations
- Excellent working knowledge of English language (oral and written)
