Vice President, Business Development

Vice President, Business Development for Thailand leads Mastercard’s engagement across financial institutions and non-financial ecosystem partners, driving revenue growth, deepening strategic partnerships, and accelerating digital payment and acceptance innovation.

Requirements

• 15+ years’ experience in payments, banking, digital commerce, fintech, consulting, or adjacent industries
• Demonstrated ability to build and execute market-shaping business development strategies
• Strong commercial acumen and experience managing large, complex partnerships
• Deep understanding of Thailand’s payment and digital ecosystem, including both FI and non-FI segments
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and senior stakeholder management skills
• Confident, proactive, and solutions-oriented leadership style
• Strong cross-functional collaboration skills across local and regional teams
• Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred
• Fluency in Thai and English
