Senior Data Engineer

As a Senior Data Engineer at McAfee, you will help implement analytics, reporting, and data driven decision making solutions for critical business metrics. This is a hands on role focused on developing high quality data solutions in close collaboration with analytics, data science, and product teams.

Requirements

• 10–15 years of experience in data engineering or a related field
• Strong programming skills in Python (preferred) or Scala/Java
• Hands-on experience with modern data tools such as Databricks, Spark, or similar technologies
• Experience working with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP data services
• Solid SQL expertise along with a strong understanding of data modeling and data warehousing concepts
• Familiarity with data quality, monitoring, reliability practices, and experience collaborating with analysts, data scientists, or product teams
• Strong problem-solving skills, a collaborative mindset, and ideally exposure to Docker, streaming data, ML pipelines, GenAI/LLM, and DataOps practices
